Welcome to Wamego Country Club! The Wamego Country Club golf course opened in 1920 and the original 9 holes was designed by famed architect Chick Trout. A new nine-holes was opened in 2004 and was designed by Wamego native Eric Langvardt. In 2014 a new hole number one was designed to make way for a driving range, that is open to the public. Students and staff at Central Elementary will be participating in. Book Buddy activities throughout the week with paired classes reading and sharing with each other. Book Giveaways will take place during library classes this week. At least 5 students from each class at Central will receive a new paperback book.
